Liar Liar

You can trust me…

Inspired by the classic Channel 4 gameshow Would I Lie To You?, Liar Liar is a game of skulduggery and deception. In each round, a panel of 3-5 participants joins the host on the (real or virtual) stage and announces a strange and surprising fact about themselves. Most of the participants will be telling the truth… but one of them will be reading out an outlandish lie that’s just been handed to them by the host.

By carefully cross-examining every member of the panel, the audience must get to the bottom of all the facts they’ve heard, and uncover the traitor in their midst. Will they succeed? Or will the liar manage to pin the suspicion on somebody else - and get away scot-free?

Each participant gets at least one turn on the panel. After 60-90 minutes of hearing weird and wonderful stories about each other, the group will know each other better than ever before - and will be sure to bring those stories up again next time they get chatting. Liar Liar is a perfect icebreaker experience disguised as a panel show.

HOW DOes a Liar Liar gameshow WORK?

  • High-energy and hilarious gameshow that perfectly fuses entertainment and icebreaking.

  • Good for 5-25 participants. For larger groups, we can either split and run two parallel workshops - or accept that not every participant will get a turn on the panel.

  • 60-90 minute session.

  • Hosted by a Hivemind improv comedian, with years of experience on London’s comedy circuit.

  • Easy to adapt to an online format.

WHAT WILL IT COST?

A 90 minute online workshop for up to 25 participants is £600.

Each additional 15 participants is an additional £200.

Discounts available for non-profits and charities.

After doing the Hivemind session, all of a sudden I see my colleagues in a different light. I feel a lot more comfortable, and I’m smiling at everyone during the coffee breaks. We feel a lot more like a team, really relaxed and happy, reading physical cues and having more eye contact. At the end of the conference, I heard so many people still talking to each other about the fun games we’d all played. So thank you so much, Hivemind, for a wonderful workshop!
